Thanks Adrien for the initative, I agree we should try to continue our discourse in English, to remain as open as possible.
+1
I also am with you on deciding on a license for our map data, and am ok for the license type you propose!
cc-by-nc-sa
Clearly not - we would like remain as open as possible, and the more restrictions we put in the less open it is. In some definitions, NC (and even SA) (and for some people even BY) is not Open. Choosing a NC-license wouldn't even allow a blogger to embed one of our maps in an article, if he has a single ad on his website to cover his hosting fees. Apart from the “religious” licensing wars, when working with OpenStreetMap, we have only two options: * Public Domain (CC-0) * Open Database License (which is like CC-BY-SA for data) ALL others are not compatible with OSM. But we can continue this discussion in Leipzig, I'm looking forward to see you all soon ☺
See you Leipizg!

/Licensing/. Would be great to discuss licensing our data. Our mapping of the mapping is getting very interesting and we need to protect it to make sure it remains open and further grows. What about Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License <http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/>? This would be a first step before discussing licensing the transformap.org <http://transformap.org> data...
fyi: transformap.org is registered since 2008. transformap.coop was the url we agreed on iirc.
