I can only add that I had no problems working with JOSM, even though I'm not a tech guy :) - you possibly need someone who gives you some hints to getting started.

JOSM itself is available in many languages, and the Transformap entry mask currently in English and German.
If someone has time to translate the manual, help would be much appreciated! Also, if you find some errors, do not keep them, share them to improve the document :-)
I would be grateful if test-mapping starts asap with this guide! If you have any questions (you will, you're Alpha testers now ☺), please share them on the proposal's discussion page² or write me an email personally.
