Greetings from the “techies”,
this week we had a telephone conference with all who call themselves “techies” to sum up recent developments. We held this in English because we had international participants, Gualter and Elf Pavlik.
The whole protocol can be found in an Etherpad¹, a short summary here:
* we used Mumble (audio only) instead of proposed video, because of WebRTC P2P approach doesn't work for everyone - Mumble worked flawless. * in the near future we will switch from Trello to Taiga, which is Open Source and has many more features for project planning. * Next week on Tu, 16th there will be a (remote) workshop for setting up a PouchDB database for the taxonomy, contact Jon or Michael M. * we need a step-by-step guide for Mapathons * the onYOURway webinterface is at unknown status, there seem to be communication problems. * next meeting of “tech people” (& everyone else) in Potsdam, Jan 10-12 * Some tech guys are at CCC (Hamburg, Dec 27-30)
