I don’t have the time to follow all four threads in detail but I’ll do my best.

I’m already working on the application draft. More to come soon.

I’ll take care of adding some technical detail about what we are going to develop to digitally assist the community process with focus on mapping tool interoperability and taxonomy.

I’m not going to go for communication infrastructure or the community process. I’ll leave that part to you, and @MichaelMaier @JonRichter.

Dear mappers, 

As some of you have seen we have started to brainstorm about answering a call for proposals to develop a "digital social innovation process" (summary of the call is here: http://discourse.14mmm.org/t/application-to-chest-call-for-proposal/68)

The maximum (seed) funding awarded can be up to 60K€. This is substantial. While we are aware of the risks such a funding could have on our self-organized group, if awarded, this call is so fitting to what we're trying to do, it seems most of us think it is worth giving it a try as it would give transformap.co a huge pull. 

For the moment, we are still trying to evaluate what activities are to be included in our proposal, gathering a pool of organizations/individuals to apply.
