So we've started our preparations the Mapping Month May! (ie. testing the TransforMap taxonomy by organizing local test mapping)

Yes you've noticed, it's been moved from March to May so we can use the editor for the test of our taxonomy model with three categories (needs, self-description of community, modes of interaction). More about those categories here: https://wiki.openstreetmp.aorg/wiki/Proposed_features/TransforMap

We are currently in the process of elaborating a proposal for funding with the Full Circle Foundation for the coordination of the Mapping Month.

The official is to see by the end of May a test mapping (with or questionnaire or with the in development editor) happening in at least 5 local communities on 3 continents.

Here is the current list of local test mappings that we would like to see happen. Are there some missing? Add your local test mapping there! We don't necessarily want so many, we want some who would map around a 100 points (local initiatives) and provide feedback on the taxonomy (categories for local initiatives). There could be some funding to support that, but nothin is sure at the moment.
